Hi everyone. Dave Elswick hooked up and ready to go with our new blog. For all of you 2nd Admendment adherents go to ArkansasCCA.org and join an organization that will protect those rights and try to get the State legislature to broaden things like the Castle Doctrine. It's inexpensive and will make a difference in gun rights in our state. I look forward to posting many more items here for you.

Yesterday a caller referred to me as a Bush Nazi. If loving your country, fighting those who have pronounced Jihad on our country, and standing up for the American military man and woman makes me a Bush Nazi, then I'll wear that name with pride.

Remember the three most important words....GOD, FAMILY, COUNTRY...and keep em in that order.

Hi everyone. Dave Elswick reporting in to our new blog. My thanks to John Payne for filling in for me the last few days while I get everything up and running on our new Sports show. Ray Tucker is going to have a great show. It will take a few weeks to get everything into place but once we're there....LOOK OUT.

The Passing Of Ray Lincoln

KARN Newsradio and Citadel Broadcasting are morning the loss of Little Rock radio personality Ray Lincoln. As a recent resident of the city, I learned quickly about the legend of Ray and was amazed when I finally got to meet the man that most of it was true--and possibly under-exaggerated.

My favorite moment with Ray is actually from a few months ago, when he stopped to talk to me and my stepson in the hall way and explained how after his heart transplant, he was now responsible for the upkeep of his new heart and his promise to the family of the young organ donor to take good care of it. No other explanation of being grateful for second chances had every made as much sense.

Ray Lincoln was born March 6th, 1942 and died today at home. He was 64-years-old.

We invite you to leave a reply with you fondest memories of Ray or best wishes to the family.

I'm a firm believer in doing whatever it takes to protect yourself and those around you when harm comes near. The "good samaritan" in last night's attack could face some serious charges even though, I believe, he did the correct thing in protecting himself. (See the police beat at www.ardemgaz.com)!

Today on the show we talked "gun permit" and many issues that surround having one. Do you think the state legislature should enact laws that protect those that do the right thing from suit regardless if they have a gun permit or not?

Just wanted to take a minute to thank all of you who called in today to voice your opinions about arkansas considering extending the school hours and school year. I will have to say Ugly Ed and I were surprised so many of you were against it. I thought it would be a no brainer that more education for our children would only be a good thing. Please continue to make your points as to why you disagree. Also, do you think all districts should implement a dress code for students?

They seemed more concerned with making sure that the United States proves who was responsible before taking action. They seemed more concerned with protecting their fellow Muslims from violence directed towards them in the United States and abroad than they did with supporting our country and denouncing "leaders" like Khadafi, Hussein, Farrakhan, and Arafat. If the true teachings of Islam proclaim tolerance and peace and love for all people then I want chapter and verse from the Koran and statements from popular Muslim leaders to back it up. What good is it if the teachings in the Koran are good and pure and true when your "leaders" are teaching fanatical interpretations, terrorism, and intolerance?It matters little how good Islam SHOULD BE if large numbers of the world's Muslims interpret the teachings of Mohammed incorrectly and adhere to a degenerative form of the religion. A form that has been demonstrated to us over and over again. A form whose structure is built upon a foundation of violence, death, and suicide. A form whose members are recruited from the prisons around the world. A form whose members convert from a peaceful religion, only to take up arms against the great United States of America, the country of their birth. Razorbacks

OK the Razorbacks got beat Saturday night 50-14. I know you have to leave the turnovers in the final result because they were part of the final result. However, minus those five turnovers this would've been a close game. I'm still a believer. I still believe the Razorback offense will be powerful. The offensive line will get physical. The Wide outs will catch the ball and the running backs will hold onto the ball.
The defense looked good. They will be a very strong part of this team. The era of Mitch Mustain is here. I think we go on a 3-0 tear now. How bout you. What do you think.

I was asked late last week to take a day on the air for the still vacant mid day show, and I ended up with today. Its been a while since I got to host for a significant amount of time, and while there has been much improvement, I know I still need a lot of work just to become a standard fill in, let alone convince some station that I am the next big thing for thier talk show line up.

Want a way to get even with, or at least annoy, the poor flack who gets the unlucky spot of speaking to you, the randomly dial consummer? The EGBG anti-telemarketing Counterscript is just the weapon you need for engaging in verbal to verbal phone combat with these evil fiends.

As soon as they start talking, you go into your own scripted dialog, and refuse to get off script. See how long it takes for them to get hacked off.
